Lunch time madness

Bird feeders are mad at the moment, I feel like I am being eaten out of house and home, but on the other hand I just love it.

I decided to go to our local pet shop and stop messing around so I bought a 22kg sack of sunflower hearts and so far my garden has gone crazy, I am sure for every m² of my tiny garden it must be the busiest nature spot in the Northwest (well I think so anyway).

Here are a few shot I got today when I popped home at lunch.

All photos taken with Nikon D70 + Sigma 170-500mm

  1. Hi there, Mike :-)

  2. Those are great shots. Do you take them outside or from a window?

I know what you mean about the bird feeders. I'm spending a small fortune in birdseed. It is funny, yesterday I went to a store and bought birdseed, there was something else I wanted but wasn't sure of the price, she told me $24.00 and I decided I didn't want it that bad. Yet, my birdseed total was right at that amount. I think I'm becoming a little birdbrained.

  3. Hi Robins Nest,

Thanks for calling in again, I do sometimes take the pics through my window, but for these shots I was sat quietly outside.

The 22Kg sack of seeds cost me £24 about $46 something, so I think I too am getting a bit birdbrained.

    Thanks.
