Morning Garden

Not being able to get out much at the minute mainly due to weather being awful, I sat out in the garden this morning and got a few more shot of the local Bluetits.

And here they are.

And they may be a pain but cute all the same.

All photo taken with Nikon D70 + Sigma 170-500mm.

  1. Hi there, Mike :-)

I completely agree the grey squirrel is really quite cute and your photo completely captures its character.

Oh yes and I suppose its only really a pain if it regularly visits - so I guess I have been talking about it too much and it has shunned me first!!

Have and great Christmas and I look forward to seeing many more wonderful wildlife photos from you in 2008. I wonder if next year your travels will bring you to Scotland :-D

  2. Those Blue Tits would never be considered a bother in my garden. We have Carolina chicadees which ar of the same family. Beautiful but not as colorful.

  3. Hi Shirl / Lisa,

    Thanks for stopping by,

Lisa, its mainly the squirrels that can be a pain and I currently have about 4 that come and go and eat me out of house and home.
Bluetits and other small birds are most welcome.

    Best wishes to you both.

    Mike.

  4. Happy New Year Mike.

I hope the squirrels leave you alone. We have those little rascals too. I get mad at them when they chew up things other than the seeds they want. Such as the feeders holding the seeds.
