Birds have been few and far between in my garden lately, today wasn't much different.
Just the occasional Goldfinch and Coaltit, here are a couple of shots I managed in the few minutes of decent light we had this morning, hope you like them.
Pic of the month October to follow soon.
All photos taken with Nikon D70 + Sigma 170-500mm
The top picture reminds me of our Black-capped Chickadee with a longer bill and the bottom one has the bill of our Rose breasted Grosbeak but the colors are different. I like your photography. And how do you like the Sigma 170-500mm lens? Is it image stabilized?
ReplyDeleteYou must be pampered, calling that dull! ;)
ReplyDeleteCheers, Klaus
I loved the pic of the coal tit. They are always moving you hardly ever get a chance to look at them like this. Thanks. Jane
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures even if you are tired of looking at the same birds they are a rarity to me.
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome images, sharp details, beautiful colors and amazing composition...Thomas
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your comments.
ReplyDeleteHi Abe, No this lense isn't images stabilised unfortunately, the cost of those lenses are probably 3 times this lense, but I've been really happy with it so far.
Cheers, Mike.
Man, these are beautiful! They are so sharp and clear. You always deliver. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds.
