We did see a few Speckled Wood and here's a shot of one that stayed long enough for me to do so.
The next photo is a shot across Morecambe Bay from near the crag, a great place for waders, but our timing was really bad as the tide was in right up to the car park.
It was a good day out, but bad as far as photos went and we wanted to go further up into the lake district, but the motorway was backed right up so gave up on that idea.Mike.
