1st Macro Shots

I thought I would try out my macro adaptors today for the 1st time, I got them for Christmas, but haven't had the chance.

Please let me know what you think of my shots and give any advice, it would be most welcome.

The fly in the 2nd shot was only about 3-4 mm long.

Hopefully I will be able to start posting more insect shots once I get the hang of using it properly.

    The insect shot is fascinating though I am not sure of all of its details... the beauty in this is the movement. I love macro shots and must think about getting a lens too. The spider web with water drops is like magic - that is the thing about a macro shot; you often see worlds that you never really saw before, you just thought you did :-)

    Great first shots Mike. The fly is brilliant. I can't help you with technical stuff. I don't think you really need help anyway.
