Shaded spots
Just a couple of shots from yesterday to break in the new year, it was really dark in the back garden but the goldfinch had a little light shining on it.
The brick structure was taken during a drive over the Trough of Boland.

Finally I've had my first young bird come to the feeders, although I have heard plenty up in the trees from Bluetits to Goldfinches, it...
The goldfinch looks divine with the light shining on it. That building looks like something from a movie set, very interesting.

Your goldfinches are so beautiful and the poor light conditions really makes that red stand out and shine! I assume your talent had a lot to do with that :-) Interesting structure....looks like a short castle keep guarding the roadway.
