Having just spent a week down on the beautiful South Coast not too far from Lizard Point which is the most southern part of the UK, I just had to go through my shots.
This set of photos is showing how rough the seas where, the weather wasn't too bad, but the wind was strong, perfect for all the surfers down there.
These shots are of Kynance Cove and although the sea was very rough it was quite relaxing sitting on the rocks and watching it all.
Hope you like the shot, my next few posts will be of my hol and showing how beautiful it is down there.
All photos taken with a Nikon D70.
Fantastic photos Mike. I could almost hear the crash of the surf. The colors are smashing, literally. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteAmazing and beautiful!! These are very dramatic and magnificent, and for me, scary, if I were in a boat around there. All wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are great. Stunning actually. This is my kind of place so I can't wait to see your other photos. When my camera and I grow up I want to photograph just like you and Klaus. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat captures, Mike! Rough seas indeed. Looking forward to more!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ 2sweetnsaxy!
Cheers, Klaus
Great sea shots, Mike :-D
ReplyDeleteThe sea with crashing waves on the shore has such power. Quite mesmerising don't you think? You captures are excellent :-D
WOW...what a dramatic sea! I love those ones with the light peeking through the rocks and the spray in that second one is neat. I agree with 2sweetnsaxy, but I don't think I have a chance, so I'll just enjoy what you guys do :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, glad you liked my pics. I agree Shirl I could sit there all day just watching the waves.
ReplyDeleteWow, Mike, AWESOME pictures. Love the rough surf. I've got my board ready. Wanna go surfing? ;-)
